Children's Mental Health Week w/c 01.02.21
Hi Everyone, don't forget today is Family Friday! We look forward to seeing what you have been up to on the Family Friday blog on Purple Mash.https://www.purplemash.com/blog#/app/blog/600c3f6f9df64c16873382a6/

We know home learning can be tricky, and we know that some of our parents are learning just as much as our children at the minute. So whether you’ve been frustrated with fractions, angry at algebra or you’re just done with decimals, we wanted to share an app that may help. Photomath allows you to take a picture of a maths question with a phone or tablet, which it will then solve for you and also explain the steps to solve the problem. Hopefully it may help-out some of our fantastic ‘teachers’ at home and give you a refresher on maths questions you may not have seen since being at school yourself.
Visit from the Police in F2
On Tuesday we have a real life superhero, a police officer, doing a virtual project lesson with us to talk us all about what they do and why they might be known as a real life superhero. He is going to be talking all about what he does, his real life powers and even show us some of the equipment he has to use.
These sessions will be at:
-
9.30am on Tuesday 26th January for Foxes
-
10am on Tuesday 26th January for Owls
Keep an eye on your classes team page for the invitation. 🙂
We are hoping as many of you will be there as possible 🙂

Y6 Parents - please see the letter attached regarding a 'visit' next week for the children.
Something to share with your children to support you in setting some boundaries - now you can blame us for them having to be up and dressed in the morning! 😆

Happy New Year!! Let's hope this one is better than the last!
I hope that despite the constraints, you have all had an enjoyable break.
Following the Government's announcement on 30th December 2020, BFPNS will open as planned to all children on Tuesday 5th January 2021 - Monday is an INSET day.
Please remember to ensure that your children have some extra layers on as the windows need to remain open to allow for ventilation, (the heating is of course on) and that children do not need to bring anything with them to school apart from their packed lunch, planner and reading book - this helps to further reduce the possible transmission of Covid.
Stay safe and well
