Welcome to the Possibilities and Architects

Mrs Vourlou will be teaching the Possibilities and Mr Wood will be teaching the Architects.
We are very fortunate to also have Mrs Swain supporting across both classes.

We have some fantastic activities planned for this year - we look forward to making learning a fun and memorable experience!

Reading

Please listen to or encourage your child to read a minimum of 3x a week; this will expose them to a wider range of vocabulary and will help them to build fluency and confidence when reading.
We have a new online recording system for reading called: Learning with Parents; please see below for further information on how to access this platform.
Possibilities change their reading books on Wednesdays and Architects change theirs on Thursdays each week during their Reading afternoons. These take place in the Bibliotheque on the aforementioned days from 3-3.15. We all look forward to seeing you at these sessions.. 

Online Learning/Homework

There are weekly TTRS and Spelling Shed competitions with an opportunity for recognition in the KS2 Celebration Assemblies, so please encourage your child to access Times Table Rock Stars, iHub and Spelling Shed frequently at home. There is a Homework Menu each half term, with a selection of different tasks children can complete and return on the given date. 

PE

Our PE day is Thursday. Please send your children into school wearing their PE kit (plain white/school blue t-shirt and blue or black shorts) on this day. If it is cooler that day, please ensure your child is wearing navy or black jogging bottoms, their school jumper and trainers. No jewellery should be worn and long hair does need to be tied up for safety reasons.

Essentials

Please make sure your child only brings a water bottle, packed lunch (if they have one), their book bag and their coat. Please check your child has not taken any pencil cases, small toys or sweets with them in the morning.
