As a school, we recognise that a number of the adults in our families may not have had the educational opportunities that their children are getting. This means that they fell unable to support their child in their learning and often creates a barrier to the adults getting involved with school, and even just coming to school events.

To begin to address these barriers, we are proud to be working with ATTFE and West Notts College to provide a number of courses across the school year for any family member of our children. Over the years this has included an art diploma, first aid, maths and coping with anxiety to name a few. Some of the courses are planned around the learning that our children are accessing and so they will be joining their family members too.
