Songbirds is open to all children across the school who want to come together and sing. We learn a range of songs - some contemporary and others that are more akin to our families upbringing (and beyond!). The Songbirds have an umber of opportunities throughout the year to perform to a wide range of audiences from Young Voices to the local old people's home. We are always intreat in hearing about other opportunities to perform and compete.

Pupil Voice:

I like songbirds because at first we were all scared to sing but now we all have our inner voice and we get to sing a lot.

I love everything in Songbirds and young voices because I really love singing.

I love songbirds because we get to sing together and it's not individual people and then we all have each others backs. 

I really enjoyed young voices because we sang songs but then others would sing a song too. I enjoyed seeing other performances. I also liked the Mexican wave.

I liked young voices because it was a bit scary but when it was happening I was excited. I liked singing the songs and seeing all the lights.

I liked when the people on the stage were dancing.

I liked it when we started dancing and we all had a big dance.

I liked young voices because at first I felt a little scared of heights because we were sat so high up but then I got used to it and had fun.
