Hello Owls and Foxes,
It's been a very strange few weeks and we hope you have been enjoying all your online learning so far. For the next 2 weeks it is the Easter Holidays so we would like you to have lots of fun! Now we know you can't go out your house except for a daily walk, so we thought we would give you a few ideas of what you could do at home with your family. (See links below)
Challenges will be set again after the 2 weeks off on W/C 20th April so, keep an eye out!
We would still love to see all of the things you are doing so please try and upload pictures to your class blog for your teachers and your friends to see (Wise Owls or Fantastic Foxes) or to your challenge blog if you just want your teacher to see it.
We miss you all lots and can't wait to be back in school.
Have a lovely Easter!
Miss Hale and Miss Pownall-Brown
Ideas for the Easter Holiday
Phonics page updated with more ideas. Please check this out!
We are also adding posts onto our class blog, we would love to find out what you are up to. Parents can you help your children send us a message.
Please click on the above pages to access the home learning for F2.
Pages are being updated regularly with any new resources we find, be sure to keep checking them.
Each week we will be setting challenges for your child to complete, these will consist of 5 literacy/project challenges and 5 maths challenges. Our expectation is that you work through these by completing 1 literacy/project and 1 maths challenge each day. We will also upload a word of a day to help extend the children's vocabulary.
We would also expect the children to read and practise their phonics daily (phonics play/teach your monster to read).
In the above pages you will find some resources/activities you can use to do this.
All children also have their own logins for both Purple Mash - where the children can complete some '2do' tasks set by their teacher as well as explore mini mash.
and Spelling Shed (tasks have been assigned).
See the online learning tab above to find these links.
Please see below for a suggested timetable in order to try and keep some structure and normality during these uncertain times.
If you encounter any problems, please contact school where Miss Hale or Miss Pownall-Brown will be able to help you.
