Head Teacher – Sarah Griffith

Roll: 460

We are looking to appoint a teacher to teach in Key Stage 2 with a Year 6 class. We need an energetic, positive and resilient class teacher to join our team as we transform the learning experience of the children attending school. We are looking for a teacher who is knowledgeable about the upper key stage 2 curriculum and is able to motivate and enthuse our children so that they all have the opportunity to reach  their potential.

Here at Brierley Forest Primary and Nursery School the transformation is already underway; we have a fully refurbished and redesigned EYFS unit alongside our new purpose built school and our curriculum is underpinned by a commitment to securing excellent learning behaviours. Learning is further enriched by a range of challenging and exciting activities such as climbing and paddle power but there is more to do. If you are a confident and skilled practitioner who can quickly build effective relationships with children, including those who sometimes display challenging bahaviour, then this could be the ideal post for you to develop your skills and progress your career.

Please include a supporting statement of no more than 1000 words with your application. The statement will demonstrate your track record for supporting children to achieve high academic standards and will evidence your creative and effective teaching approaches.

Visits to the school are very welcome and will give you the opportunity to find out about our work and how you could contribute to our future development.

Dates for visits are;

20.06.19 @ 10.00 am

21.06.19 @ 3.30 pm

24.06.19 @ 2.00 pm

26.06.19 @ 9.30 am

Please ring the school to confirm your attendance.
